About me
In my daily work I explore next generation networking technologies. For me, this includes everything that happens between two applications that communicate over the internet. In order to get a good understanding of emerging technologies I usually get my hands dirty on them. I have been working in the field of Education and Research Networks for more than twenty years and I currently work at SURF (in 2020 SURFnet and SURFsara merged into SURF). My former employers include the VU University in Amsterdam, NLnet Labs, SARA and SURFnet.
